prevent multiple login in php

Hi All Can somebody help me, I would like to get the script that will prevent multiple login in a system with 1 username and 1 password.thank you9911782

on login set a field in the database to true and on log off set it to false. If the variable is already true deny access.

It might be better to have a timestamp and an IP, and on each request check if it is a different IP accessing the page and the timestamp for the last one is less then 5 minutes or something like that. If people always log out you can have a field that keeps track of if they are logged in, but a lot of people just close the browser without logging out.
