MikeFloutier
Hi,I just tried up-loading a 48Mb file to my host to discover that I'd need to use an "ftp client".I notice that some are free and some cost (typically $40). I seem to be forking out $40 every other day since I started this web-site project for my wife and I'm just wondering:Is it ok to use a free one or should I buy one. What do you think?ThanksMike
boen_robot
I would go for the free one, unless I had an illegal copy of the payed client.Your browser can be an FTP client too though. Did you tried using it?
aalbetski
I've been using 'Filezilla' and love it. Totally freehttp://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
justsomeguy
I think several free ones are better then several commercial ones. Filezilla is ok, but I don't like how there is no 'overwrite all' or something similar. I prefer CoreFTP myself:http://www.coreftp.com/
