can i populate datagrid items of asp page to another asp page having textfields

hii am new to this forumcan i populate datagrid items of asp page to another asp page having textfields. in this datagrid userId is the index key by which it referenced.and i am using edit button in that grid when i click on edit button it has to populate the corresponding userid items to the another asppage containing textfields.i had tried this by querystring but it is not done.please help me . thanking u in advance
