redirect open new window

i'm running a script, i use response.redirect to run another script. Works great! but it runs in the same window. How do i open it in a new window? using href, i would specify "target=_blank." But what about response.redirect ?

Is this .NET or ASP? Plain Javascript doesn't have a global Response object.

 

In plain Javascript you would open a new window with window.open().

If you're talking about ASP only, ASP cannot open a new window. You need to launch the ASP page in a new window from either Javascript or regular HTML.
