  1. That is not a bad idea. Not bad at all. I'd like to see how this goes.
  2. It is a fully functional website, not a skin. Ultimately it is for the them to decide, not you. Thank you for your time. Have a nice day.- Moridin
  3. According to the rules over at the ifsz, the design must be all yours ie. no help from others
  4. Another way is to simply disable javascript in your browser and anyone can steel everything they want.Sure, it might be an effective way to prevent 12-year-olds, but it is really irritating to block it.
  5. No, not advertisement. boen_robot, you got it all backwards, the link to the resources (from multiple places) would be in threads where everyone could contribute. Not links to sites containing links. The resource thread approach is common on a lot of web development forums and appear to have been successful.Your stickies is only "Read w3schools tutorials" before asking to be honest. It seems that one is allowed to post resources in the stickies for the w3schools tutorials.http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=4Problem solved.
  6. Some place where users could post resources for the different languages is my idea. Altough that might be considered as posting links to competitors of w3schools...
  7. My favourite language is Python. It has sinple syntax and it is very powerful.
  8. Edit: Oops, this was a month old thread. Sorry to bump it; I didn't realize it until now :)Do you mean that you want to align the content to the far right of your webiste to the right, so that it is close to the side of your website? Here is the HTML/CSS that you can use to create something similar to your effect. I also took the liberty to make it XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid for you <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xml:lang="en" lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><head><title></title><style type="text/css">body{ background-color: #000000; background-image: url('2.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif; color: #00FF00;}.links{margin-top:250px;}</style></head><body><table width="100%" class="links"><tr><td align="left">Link 1</td><td align="right">link 2</td></tr><tr><td align="left">Link 1</td><td align="right">link 2</td></tr><tr><td align="left">Link 1</td><td align="right">link 2</td></tr></table></body></html> Although this does not give exactly as it was before, you can easily customize it to fit your needs.Good luck! - Moridin
  9. Hello,My advice to you would be to work with yourself and try things out. In the end, you do not need a certificate saying that you have completed some test. Most people do not have it (including some of the best designers I know).Good Luck with whatever you decide! - Moridin
