vytas
I need to make a page from a PDF file. But the text is moved a little too the right how can i do that too?
real_illusions
you wont be able to move the text slightly to the left or the right without cssyou need to use the padding css attributep{padding-left:10px;}to move any <p> tags 10 pixels away from the left. real_illusions
I may not use CSS for a odd reason ..and that reason is?you have head tags, stick the css in there. or put the style into the p tags.
jesh
How about using non-breaking space characters? Also, pre-CSS, people used to use transparent images to make whitespaces.
kvnmck18
and tables....... that was horrible. Waste of loading time and made for ugly coding.I don't get "odd reason"
Skemcin
If I am reading the page correctly, it seems that this is a legitimate use of tables - so maybe we should not jump to our own opinions and try to help the person.Jesh has the only solutions that I can think of other than adding a <td> to the first row with a width of 5 and adding a rowspan of 5. Even if this is dynamically driven content, a simple record count can produce the value to insert into the rowspan attribute.
Xtazy
Why don't you use CSS?use a <p class> and allign it: .thenameoftheclass { top:x px; left:x px; right:x px}
