Learning C#

Recommended Posts

I'm planning on maybe learning some C# in the not too distant future (a couple of months probably.) I asked a while back what some good tutorial websites were (And I still have the links). But I believe I have to download a framework or something, and that's where I'm confused. I have no idea what to download. I've looked around Microsoft's website, and there seems to be so many different frameworks that I'm not sure which is the right one. So if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks,Keivn

download the framework and install. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=enget Visual Web Developer to use to make web apps http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/and C# express to make desktop apps http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/visualcsharp/both IDE's are standalone and won't conflict. Our you could buy Visual Studio which has both all in one but it is expensive and those other 2 are free.
