valign="top" doesn't do anything!

Hi guys,I got this page that show perfectly in FF2 but messing up a little bit with IE7.My problem is the content part it supose to valign="top" but it doesn't in IE7

I've tried to use the css to vertical-align the table, tr and td on top without successThank you for your help

I don't have IE7 installed here so I can't check on the valign, but this:<td align="right"><a href="nouvelles.php">Voir toutes les nouvelles</td></tr></a>should be this:<td align="right"><a href="nouvelles.php">Voir toutes les nouvelles</a></td></tr>

Thank you to pointing that out. weird that dreamweaver and the W3C validator didn't see it :)I someone can find/have an alternative to to the valign or vertical-align in css for EI7 it will be very apreciated :)
