ZeroShade
Can somebody help me with a script that tells the user they cannot view the page in firefox or other browsers if they are using that browser... else if its IE... the page loads normally? Can this even be done in javascript?
justsomeguy
You can try to detect which browser they are using. There are a ton of scripts online to do this, people have been doing this type of stuff since day one. Do a search for Javascript browser detection. A better way would be to just make the page work with more browsers, have you tested it using something like Opera to find out if it works? It may be easier to just make it work then it would be to deal with an IE-only situation.
ZeroShade
Were using a third party editor for discussions and such that doesn't work too well in firefox. So for the admin section only, I thought that its should only be viewed in IE... which doesn't affect users at all. Thanks for the advice!!
