Mystixs Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 Select is used in querys to retrive information from a database. Such as:mysql_query("SELECT FROM table_name")Something like that. That query there would select information for table_name then you would need to use a WHILE statement then have it display the information. justsomeguy Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 I should point out that SELECT is not PHP code, database statements are part of the Structured Query Language (SQL) that many database servers understand for accessing and updating data in the database.The MySQL documentation is a good reference.
