kurt.santo
Have a site that has pages, which are short and some are long. I do not like that the page jumps when the standard browser scollbar appears/disappears. Do not want to create an additional scollbar as with the overflow property, but wondered what other workaround you could have?Kurt
jlhaslip
I'd need to see some code to confirm that this would work, but setting the width to 100.1% works to force a scrollbar onto the short pages in some cases.

Tried it with height to 100.1%, but did not work. The thing is that I have a main div that has set width (centered on page). Found that up to resolution 1440x900 (setting of my laptop) a fotter bottom-padding of 300px does the trick. Guess unless I come across better way leave it this way.
