renegade420
Hi!I'm new to the development side of the web aspect so I hope anyone can help me.I have a website that is basically a library. To where if you search for a pdf it will populate a table with this listing for you.The folder I use to house pdfs is called "pubs" but I need to rename the folder to "pubfiles"However when I make the change and try to view a pdf on the website it still directs you to the "pubs" folder causing an error.I've heard of creating a virtual directory in IIS but I'm not sure why or how I do this because the folder still resides in the wwwroot of the website and not an outside location. Synook
Well, you need to change the coding /configuration of your website so that it prints links that point to the right location.
justsomeguy
You should be able to set up a virtual folder that points to the old one. Why can't you do that?
