Synook Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 You can't embed fonts on your web pages - either the client has the font or it shows the next one on the list.There are three / four main types of fonts: Serif, Sans Serif, Screen-optimized (which are sans-serif too), and Monospaced. Generally when defining the font-family put the fonts you would like to have, a fallback font, and a generic one. E.g. font-familya:"Tekton Pro Ext", arial, sans-serif; Of course, make sure the fallback fonts don't mess up your design. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you're using it just for a logo or something put it into an image or something.One thing you can do which I've seen some sites do in the past is ask people to download the font from their page.Personally I think that's a little cheeky but that's my opinion.
