uaintgotthisid
Hey PHP.ini keeps cropping up as I look for solutions to problems. I can't find a copy of this file on my FTP, but I assume my server has the file stored in a directory with PHP it's self (?) which I don't have access to (?). 1st if I make one in my directory will it overrule the other? 2nd does anyone know of any resources about php.ini? I've got it clear in my head that it seems to control wether certain things are allowed. i.e. rules are set. Now I'm stuck as to wether I can create one and where I should put it. I hope I haven't been to ambiguous, I did find my problem hard to explain.
zppblood
php.ini is the configuration file for the PHP interpreter.PHP.net should be on your list of places to check on how to do things in PHPhttp://us2.php.net/manual/en/ini.phpSave as index.php and view it in the browser. <?php phpinfo();?> This will give you information about your PHP setup, including location of the php.ini file you are using.
