ben03
Sometimes images appear at the top of a google results list when the word 'pic' or 'photo' is used in a search query. Is this based on the 'alt' tag? Or is there another way to get seperate images indexed? Cheers.
Synook
Google automatically indexs images, though I'm not sure what metadata is uses to assign the name. If there are a significant amount of image results for a certain search term entered in Google's main search interface, the results page will display some of those images automatically.
