Steven
First off I'm not sure where in the forum this thread fits, so I put it here.I need my header text image to be transparent so it can show just the text over the background-image behind it. But when I have the .png (png-24) image over the back-ground image or even just a solid block of #000, a strange lighter shaded box appears behind the .png image. This box does not appear when the image is over a red or white background. This issue is appearing in both IE and Firefox (I'm using the latest versions of both). Here's the url: http://www.modernoffice.com/bethelefc/
Steven
I did some more tinkering and found that it works on more absolute colors, such as #F00, #00F, and #0F0, but when it's over an image or a color such as #4f6d4a, then it places some sort of "ghost box" behind itself... Redroest
It maybe has something to do with browser color support:http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article...management.html
ApocalypeX
Some peoples browsers support .PNG files different. I'm not sure what png-24 is but try finding other transparent images and using them to test..thebackground{background-image: URL(urlofimage)your CSS}<div class="thebackground"><img src"the.png" /></div>
