trinistorm Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I see Pascal is real popular here, so I hope this doesn't get buried. I have a 64 bit hp laptop running ubnuntu and windows 7 and i need to re-learn the pascal basics for my course of study. Does any one know where or how i can get Pascal running on a 64bit system? I asked my lecturer but he dosen't seem that verse with such aspects of cross-platforming and data pipelines etc.Thanks.
boen_robot Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Free Pascal is one free Pascal compiler and IDE that is also available for 64 bit OS-es.Just curious, what do you use at the course? Turbo Pascal?
trinistorm Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 I believe someone in the class uses turbo the school provides a Pascal don't know what version. I usually just write the programs in Java
trinistorm Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Yeah it was my first introduction to program and i never liked it, it was way to cumbersome but I am doing distance learning and its what the British people at acp base their exams on.
