aspquestions Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Hello,I have a classic asp page that is more that is huge!!! It would take me days just to clean up the code (make it neat) and aligned etc.. I am new to classic asp so forgive me if this sounds ridiculous. But isn't the Format Selection option in interdev supposed to do it for me? Why is it greyed out? If not how am I "supposed" to format the code?Please help. This is such a minor issue but it is driving me nuts. We are not allowed to download any kind of software at school so please help me figure out how to do this!Thanks!How does everybody else format their code ? justsomeguy Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 The format option is typically used to format HTML code, not VB or whatever you wrote the ASP with. Most of the time it's done by hand, as you're programming, you usually don't need to go back after it's finished and reformat everything if you did it right when you were writing it in the first place.
