NANNERS
Hi, i read the ASP tutorial and wrote a nice script for a webpage. I was wondering how i can make it so ANYONE anywhere can access that page, and "sign in" as a member and such...I'm sure some of you know how to do this! I'm only 14 years old, and scripting is hard, but can somone please help me?Tell me if you can already access this page:http://localhost/MyWeb/Universe%20of%20Ska2.asp------------NANNERS

smiles
localhost means you have to find your own webhost like http://www.freewebs.com ( but it doesn't support ASP ) then uploadyour asp file and you will see it

Brendon Branigin
your going to need paid hosting (or host it yourself) to support asp. I dont know of any free webhosts that support it. There are plenty of good hosting companies i could mention but im not sure on what the policies on this forum are on that kind of thing.

mpoer
You can always host it on your own PC, since very few free hosts (if any) support ASP. There is/was a bit of discussion here about that: http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=2783it has the pros and cons of hosting at home, so be sure to read everyone's posts as it is all good advice
