What is the purpose of this?Sometimes a redirection is done to prevent refreshing the page and overloading the server...quite a few forums do something similar. Synook Posted July 11, 2010 Share Posted July 11, 2010 It could also be a security measure, to prevent bots from submitting multiple requests over and over again, or an attempt to introduce better logic by separating the code for HTML generation from the login controller.
