Sami Posted September 29, 2010 Share Posted September 29, 2010 I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, and the root account in MySQL doesn't work!Whatever password I'm trying in phpmyadmin doesn't work, and when I enter "mysql" in the terminal, this error showes up:root@server:~# ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)And in PhpMyAdmin, this error showes up:#1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL serverAnd when I'm trying to remove it, for reinstall, this error showes up:E: Klarte ikke å finne pakken mysql(That means that it couldn't find MySQL)Any solution that doesn't mean I have to reinstall the whole server?
