I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, and the root account in MySQL doesn't work!Whatever password I'm trying in phpmyadmin doesn't work, and when I enter "mysql" in the terminal, this error showes up:root@server:~# ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)And in PhpMyAdmin, this error showes up:#1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL serverAnd when I'm trying to remove it, for reinstall, this error showes up:E: Klarte ikke å finne pakken mysql(That means that it couldn't find MySQL)Any solution that doesn't mean I have to reinstall the whole server?

Did you try to login leaving the password blank?
