image positioning problem

hi, :)i am trying to create a web page which consists of a background image and 5 large buttons...theese buttons must be transparent and have a mouse over state 'highlighted'my problem is that i have edited the background image to include the mouse off images with the background visible through them, but when i position each 'highlighted' mouse over image over them which will apear on mose over and be clickable. it works fine but when the page is viewed on a different size screen (widescreen, bigger, diferent resolution) the mouse over image isnt over the mouse off.what can i do to sort this out?thanks in advance

Hi Bean and welcome.Are you using fixed positioning? that is often the reason why things don't work correctly when the resolution is changed. If you are using fixed postioning try changing it to relative.If you need further help some code or a link to the page in question would greatly improve our knowledge of your problem.
