SQL Trace?

Does anyone here have experience using a Trace? I'm not sure it is available in SQL Server Express which is what I believe I currently have installed. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms...SQL.100%29.aspx

You definitely don't get the SQL Query Analyzer with the express version, but if the stored procedures listed in that article are set up then you should be able to use those. This describes how to create a trace, for example:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms...v=SQL.100).aspxThis shows stopping and starting:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms...v=SQL.100).aspxI'm not sure if there's a way to open and view the results of the trace without using the Profiler tool though.
