ruthox
Hello..I was trying to figure why there's a difference in the layout, on my website, between my IE (v7.0) and Firefox (v3.6.14)...And I find those :http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?fi...ryhtml_col_testhttp://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?fi...tryhtml_col_csswhich have a difference between my IE and Firefox... but I don't know why.. !?Is it only because my IE is outdated? And I should update it and tell my client to do the same?Because on my website, it seems that the width property isn't taken correctly with IE !? Is it possible?Thank you
Ingolme
Most browsers don't have very good support for the col and colgroup elements. Especially Internet Explorer.

I'm reading some more stuff right now, and it seems I should use divs instead? Is it possible?Or should I set the first row of td's properly?Thank you
Ingolme
If I want columns styled differently, I give all the <td> elements of one column a class name and use CSS to style it.
