Donnie Love
I need to make a header with text-decoration overline and underline, but I can't seem to make both work at the same time. Can anyone tell me how to do that?
jeffman
I believe you must choose. However, the effect might be replicated if you gave the containing element border-top and border-bottom properties. Adjust the element's height and possibly line-height till the borders are where you want them. If you want the borders to be exactly as wide as the text, try putting the text in a span and apply the borders to that element.
Ingolme
Text can be both overlined and underlined by writing both properties: text-decoration: overline underline;

Donnie Love
Bingo! That did it. Funny, I tried that once before; but this time it worked. In computers, insanity is doing the same thing and expecting the same results.
