Most of the time, that motivation is a love for programming. The attraction to something so methodical and precise is not common among women. Now that you mention it, I actually can't think of one female advanced programmer... Women, however, are much more common in the web design field because it is more creative and artistic. Logic is good for programing.Women like more to talk and give opinion and communicate. Computers well... are not that good in communicating...
