Man In Tan
I downloaded the latest version from the MySQL website, and tried to install it using these directions: http://0gb.us/?mysqlBut when I got to the configure line ("./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql"), I got an error. about no such file existing. I've never had ./configure fail before. Any ideas?
justsomeguy
The obvious answer is that the file doesn't exist. What file is it?
Man In Tan
It says "./configure" is missing. But why would that be missing?
justsomeguy
I don't know, maybe you're not in the right directory.
Man In Tan
I just checked all the subdirectories, and it's not there! Bad download? I guess I'll look for another ...
Man In Tan
I ended up giving up, and installing a packaged version. Too bad.
