Glom
When I started work on my new template using css layouts, I created a seperate css file containing the styles for the divs. All my main pages call up both stylesheets. I know functionally it doesn't make a difference, but should I combine them into one or is it okay to leave it seperate?
DenisK
Its better to combine them together.becouse the users browser will have to call up a style sheet 2 timeswhich might take longer for the page to loadbut it is realy optional.
johneva
I keep um in the same CSS file and just put comment lines in to show what is what.http://www.john-eva.co.uk/styles.css
boen_robot
It is only good to keep them is separate files if you have two or more styles for the site. The included style would be the one carrying the things the two styles share. Otherwise, it's useless and as mentioned above, it may actually have a performace hit.
