ThinkStainless
When designing websites, I have had the problem of trying to get the site to look properly in IE, Firefox and Safari. Usually IE gives me the most problems, text in weird places, content boxes out of alignment. I tried using CSS 3 column layouts. Does anyone have any advice on trying to get websites to look okay in these 3 browsers? Thanks!
scott100
IE6 is well behind Firefox so most of the time i would use hacks like<style>normal styles go here<!--[if lte IE 6]>* put all styles relating to ie here<![endif]--></style>

Nakor
Also, you should probably make sure that all of your pages are W3 validated
SmokingMan
I try first to get my pages to validate, and then to render correctly in FF & Opera, then after getting over the shock of looking at it in IE, do whatever work arounds needed to make it work in IE.Are you listening Bill?!!
