If you go to to the jquery site you will see in the header 3 big icons,lightweight footprint, css3c compliant,cross-browser The last icon on hover rotates. Is this css3?- Because I cannot find any indication that it is-by watching in the code(chrome developers toools)

yes...you are right...I was looking the properties of the outer div and that is why I did not notice the css3 feature.
