HTML/CSS Question

I was wondering if an HTML document can be linked to more that one external CSS document. And If so I was wondering if there were a limit on how many could be used.To take it a step further I would also like to know if there is a limit to how many external Java Script Files could be linked to an HTML document

As far as I know, no, I don't think there's a limit to how many external CSS documents you can add on to a web page, I mean there shouldn't be. You know if you have many styles you want to add to web page, you can just add all the styles you have together on 1 CSS document instead of having 2 or more separate CSS documents. Same would go for JavaScript files, as far as putting all your scripts on 1 JS file... that would require some JS knowledge. Heck I've made pages that have 9 scripts on 1 page.

I agree with RahXephon. I'm only a beginner myself, but as far as I know, you can add as many CSS files as you need.As for JS documents. I think they are the same, though I haven't had the need to create an external JS document myself yet, so I'm not 100% sure.

unlimited external css and js documents can be attached to an HTML document.

But the fewer the better, because a separate request is necessary for each one. One 100k file will transfer quicker then ten 10k files because of all the overhead necessary to make a request and get a response.
