justsomeguy
If you want to set up a blog, you will probably want to download an open source PHP one and modify it to do what you want it to do.

justsomeguy
You should have a database name where you are storing all of the info for the blog, that is what it is asking for. The database will have all the user tables, blog tables, etc, and will have some name (like wordpress_db or whatever). So it's the name of the database you created in MySQL. If you haven't created one yet, just create an empty one and give the setup whatever name you give the database.
