I'm not sure about some of those questions (i.e. "what do you know about 'online' word".. what kind of answers do you expect?), but I work for a company that produces online learning courses. If that is what you are interested in, then using Flash is definately the best choice. We have several writers who work with the client and with subject matter experts to develop a storyboard, the storyboards go to the artists who produce the media mostly in Flash, and programmers are required to set up some of the games and interactions. We have a courseware shell that is responsible for loading the individual pages and the audio, keeping track of scoring, and communicating with the LMS (learning management system). Apparently we are doing something right, because we have been awarded three times in an international competition for our courseware. This year, we got a gold award and beat out IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, GE, and Adobe (for both Breeze and Captivate) with this:http://tracorp.com/m-learning/
