If you really want to be certain then you can ask a lawyer, but I've never heard of any legal problems from people using anything on the site. If you search for w3schools lawsuit you'll find a bunch of law blogs who just copied code and left "w3schools" as the alt text for various images on their site.

The skeleton you have for the if structure isn't correct, you don't have enough brackets and you have too many semicolons. Look at the main method to see how to format an if/else structure.

It sounds like you're re-using IDs or something like that, although I haven't downloaded your zip file, extracted everything, and looked for code. It would be better to just post the code here instead of a zip file. Every ID on a page needs to be unique though, 2 elements can't share one ID. My guess is that's your problem.

Do you have specific questions? There's a lot of information online about polymorphism in general and how it applies to Javascript, so do you have specific questions about it that you can't find answers to?
