Wibbskii
How do you do when you test a website for other web browsers. Is there some tools for that or is the manual way the best?
niche
There is no single test to check how your code behaves in all browsers and all versions of browsers, However, this link will ID most of the problems that browsers might have with your code: http://www.w3schools.com/website/web_validate.asp There will usually be something that doesn't work quite right or possibly not at all especially on older browser versions and as your code ages, even after validation. thescientist
Manually. I have virtual machines to test IE on OSX, and test using devices when available (iOS, Android). Typically the first step is establishing which browsers and devices are expected, and determining how much effort it is to support older browsers / devices versus the time spent developing for them. note: I am moving this to general since this topic is not about version control.
