AnonymousX
I've tried several times to get this to work but have yet to successfully complete any type of SSI without using javascripts. I understand that in order to complete a SSI correctly, you must use a shtml file. My question is this. If I wished to include my "header" file into my "index" page (along with all the other pages), which file(s) should be saved as shtml and which can be another file type. Thanks. justsomeguy
It's probably better to name all of them shtml, even if there is no server-side code in them. That way if you decide to add code to them in the future you don't have to change any links.
croatiankid
If I remember correctly, only the page that contains the SSI needs to be .shtml.
