Hi guys, I've a problem. I'm coding my vBulletin forum software, and when I go to a specific page (member.php), with Internet Explorer, I get a popup error:[img]http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/4339/ssao4.jpg[/img][quote name='Windows Internet Explorer']Unable to open the website http://..Operation finished.[/quote]With Firefox it works perfectly. Why?

What are you using as your server (eg, XAMMP, WAMP, IIS [or is it ISS?])

Yes, I'm developing under vBulletin.. Mh, it doesn't end correcly becouse I think this forum has cut all my code, maybe becouse it was too much characters. Arg.. what should I do?

It's hard to say specifically what the problem is, but there are a lot of validation errors that you should fix first. Copy and paste the source of one of those pages into the validator to see the errors. There are some non-existent tags being used and some missing quotes and invalid attribute values and things like that. If you get the page to validate and still see the problem then start disabling some of the Javascript until the error goes away. Some of the Javascript might need to be run onload instead of just in the code.

A lot of things are missed becouse they refer to things that I haven't added to that style, in that test forum. For example, I've called some userfield that in that forum doesn't exist. I've them in my local forum, but I've the same problem. However I think I will try to write again the code and will check frequently with IE, when I'm doing it. So I'll find what's the problem, I think. Thank you for your time, justsomeguy. I will let you know!

What do you mean, exactly?
I mean that your page contains those tags, and they are not valid HTML or XHTML tags. You'll want to validate the code and fix those errors first. Chances are that will fix it for IE. It's the easiest way to try and fix that. Instead you could try rebuilding the page, but you'll still want to validate it after that and fix anything that shows up.
