bonnit Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 hi guys, having a bit of trouble with the hv menu scriptsource: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu/index.htmusing it on this page: http://www.lighterdawn.co.uk/testindex.htm just until i have it working completely.i have inserted the script just under the <body> tags as it specifies but it doesnt seem to display, i intend for it to display on the left hand side in the space next to the large content box. its not my dreamwevaer template that is conflicting because ive tested the script tags on a clean html page, i initially had the source files menu.js and menu_com.js in a folder named java but have since moved them into the root folder and linked to them there to try and see if that was the problem, no avail.its driving me crazy and im just kinda hoping its only a small issue i have with the menu, maybe just me being a bit of a newbie with javascript lolthe files im using below:http://www.lighterdawn.co.uk/menu.jshttp://www.lighterdawn.co.uk/menu_com.jsany help would be very much appreciatedthanks alot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
justsomeguy Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 There are a couple Javascript errors on your page, it would be good for you to download Firebug for Firefox and use that to help you debug Javascript, it will show the errors and where they happen, etc. There are links to Javascript debuggers for Firefox, IE, and Opera in my signature.
