pizzaguy
I am running a webpage from a home server, so far i have been able to figure everything out i need by myself but this i may not be able to over come. From what i can see, my ISP blocks traffic over port 25 (unless you are paying for a business connection). Is there an alternative to the mail() function, or a way to send mail over a different port? Ingolme
To send it through a different port you would most likely need control over the server configuration, if it's even possible.mail() is the only method in PHP for sending E-mails.
justsomeguy
The SMTP server would have to be set up to listen on a non-standard port. If it's only listening on port 25 then there's nothing you can do. Otherwise, php.ini contains an entry for the port to use for SMTP.
