niche
Why is the setAttribute() method not clickable under the HTML DOM HTMLElement Object and its clickable under the XML DOM - The Element Object? Why list it if it isn't clickabe?
boen_robot
I was almost unable to decipher your question... my first reaction was "is any method 'clickable'"? My second reaction was "Is this Firebug he's talking about?", and only then I got that you meant the W3Schools reference.Anyway... the reason is because the authors of W3Schools like to keep the examples in sync with what is being referenced. In the XML DOM, you have an example with an XML file, although the method works equivalently with HTML. In HTML, you have examples with HTML, although some of the things have DOM XML equivalents.
