jimfog
I have set the font size to 0,875ems-that is 14 pixels. The problem is that IE interprets that not as it should(way above 14px). There is no problem in ff and chrome. The letters appear larger. Here is the site: http://www.hellenicastrology.gr/ I am talking about div# centralcolumn. You will have not problem pinpointing the above div, because, as stated above, the font is significant larger there. Surely, i can correct the issue by creating a css declaration in the ie 0nly css i have. Still though, i want to know why this happens.
dsonesuk
0,875em or 0.875em? also just check text size is set to medium in IE, I've had this question before, and it turned out text size was set to large or larger.
Ingolme
In my version of Internet Explorer it looks normal, even testing with versions 8 and 7. I think your site has way too many tables. And tables inside tables.

Yes, you were right, it was an issue with text size. I did not know that besides the "zoom" feature there was also a feature specifically for the text. Thanks.
