umekille78
Hi!Im trying to put up a server on one of my old computers. Im using Apache on windows. When using PHP you need a program or module for apache to be able to read/execute PHP. Is it the same way for Java Script?Do I need anything special for my apache server to be able to work with JS?As PHP is a server side script and JS is a client side script I would think that I DONT need anything. But need to be sure. Can any one help me?/Per
scott100
As PHP is a server side script and JS is a client side script I would think that I DONT need anything.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Correct, JS is processed by the client browser not the server, you don't need anything. Chocolate570
Correct, JS is processed by the client browser not the server, you don't need anything.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> If only it weren't like that...that way you wouldn't need to make all of your scripts cross-browser. But like Scott said, you're correct, JS is proccessed by the browser.
