niche
What's the reason or reference that I don't need to concatenate the variables inside my message variable that I use in a email script? $message = "<html><body>Thanks for joining! Please click this link to complete your membership application: <a href= \"$url/validation_email.php?id=$new_mem2_id\">Click Here!!!</a></body></html>"; Edited September 25, 2012 by niche

niche
I never would've thought to look there without your help. Thank-you very much justsomeguy.
justsomeguy
Really? You've been programming for how long and still don't go to the manual when you have questions? That's the first place I check for any questions about PHP, I start at the table of contents if necessary.
niche
I'm kind of glad you brought that up. I do use the manual and tried to use it to answer my question, but ended up working it out on my own. I just didn't know that issue is called string parsing and was interested in a reference. Consequently, I spent time in the functions section instead of the Language Reference Section which, like I said I wouldn't have found without your help. Thanks again. EDIT:I must admit I didn't use in the table of contents. I might've found it on my own, if I had. I thought I'd given my question enough diligence before posting. By doubling down you pointed out that I hadn't. Good work per usual jsg. Edited September 26, 2012 by niche
