zebranym
Hi, I'm new on here, and looking for some help with HTML, CSS code for how to add mouseOver to an Image with mutliple areas on the same image so that when you hover over certain areas on the diagram, it displays text. I have used plugins for this type of thing where you add hotspots to the image which is fine but not what I'm looking for with this particular project. This website has the sort of thing I'm after - see the interactive graphic on the 'Our Process' page - http://www.moffatts.com/#url I have very basic understandig of html, and css but I'm learning loads on W3Schools! Ingolme
Once you feel confident with your HTML and CSS you should start learning Javascript. The task you want to do has to be done with Javascript.
dsonesuk
For a simple mouseover it does NOT need to be done with JavaScript, you could get away with it using css alone, if you wish the hover over area to remain highlighted, and text to remain showing, then yes! JavaScript would be required.
