iwato
Is it (see title) possible? If yes, how? If not, do you have another suggestion to obtain a similar effect. CONSTRAINT: This is for an HTML formatted email, and I must avoid elaborate coding.
Ingolme
There isn't enough information to go on. The images may not necessarily have to be in the background, you could have a set of <img> elements in a row. Or try multiple table cells, each one with its own background image. iwato
The goal is not to feature the images, but the text that overlies them. Edited March 31, 2017 by iwato
Ingolme
Combine them into one single image and put that in the background of the cell.
iwato
Yeah, I already thought of that, but then I cannot mix the images up randomly, unless I create a bunch of multiple-image images. I would rather write code, as I learn by doing it. It is a better investment in time and output. No other ideas?
Ingolme
That would be fine if you were coding for a website, but HTML emails need to be simple. if you want it random, you'll have to create several different images with the pictures in different orders.
dsonesuk
What if he uses server code to randomize images, then join, then link to that file?
