tp88
Hello, I would like multiple auto slideshows on one page with navigation options. It's for a portfolio showcase, I want 6 slideshows for 6 different projects. I have found this code https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_js_slideshow_auto. I like this, but when I try to change this code to have multiple slideshows, the second or third or … slideshow does not show any photo: it's empty. I do not have a lot of experience in building websites. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks!
dsonesuk
IF you have multiple automatic sideshows all running at once, you have to keep note of each of the current slideshow indices, which also has to be updated when any type of navigation is used as you need each slideshow to work Independently. Its going to be more complex doing this way, and if not done right! could have this page locking or slowing to a crawl.
tp88
Thanks for your reply! In summary.... it's not going to work 😞 And if they are not automatic? Multiple slideshow with same layout as https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_js_slideshow_auto but with manual slideshow options (buttons left and right). Is that possible and what code would I need then?
