SimonGillham
I am creating an internal HTML file which combines a few iFrames into one iFrame. What I am looking to do is to be able to save the final iFrame as PDF. By having a button to allow the user to do this. How can I write this to allow the user to save as PDF? I did find one solution but the PDF was coming out blank, plus it would one work on the first click. If I tried to click it again, it wouldn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Ingolme
You can search for HTML to PDF converters, but I don't think they can handle iframes. If none of the existing tools available can handle iframes, you might need to reconsider your requirements. This project would likely take several weeks of research and development. dsonesuk
I think you have to deal with focusing on iframe content, then back to main frame for button to work properly, i had similar problem long ago with clicking for printing content of pop-up iframe. SimonGillham
Thanks for the replies guys, does anyone know the code to get the content from the iFrame to then save as PDF?
Ingolme
There is no code for that. You would have to study the PDF file format and build software from scratch to do it. It would take an experienced software developer a few weeks to build or even months depending on difficulties encountered during development.
