What exactly is a socket and how can I fix this? justsomeguy Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 A socket is basically a connection. Or at least, it's one type of connection. Check your code and make sure you have the right server, user, password etc. Was the page working, and suddenly stop? If so, MySQL might have crashed.
