  1. http://media.www.studentprintz.com/media/s...e-2667600.shtmlWell, most types of cancers have been cured. Read this article to read why!!! Now we don't have to worry about it as much. A drug used to treat metabolic disorders will turn cancer cells into normal cells. Its all in the article. But you must take note it doesn't cure ALL cancer. But it cures most (well, no more of those breast cancer fund raisers!) so we should all be glad! Toast :).
  2. You could check if a quote is already set for that date, or random and if it is send them back a page with an alert saying that there is already a quote for that date? Or, if you want a few randoms on one day check if it is also set as random.

  3. I don't want to give it, but the reason is not security but rather the lack of a good picture and the ones I have are... well... embarrasing or with a quality (or posture) that makes me look like a complete dork.
Amen! I have a picture of me playing my Wii. =\http://flickr.com/photos/dday859/359005384/:), BTW the Wii is awesome!I look stupid in that photo, of course thats a price you take for playing that console.Wow, just realized I hit 1000 posts! Yay
  4. Knimbus, are you dutch (or from somewhere around the netherlands)? Just wondering :).My teacher told me in class something very interesting. A few years back a lab at Harvard did a test, they had a tube filled with some "special" material, it was close to 1-2 K. Basically really really cold. Then the shot some light through the tube (clear tube, mind you) and the people around it could actually see the light going through the tube (1.5 meters long). It took several minutes for the light to go through the whole thing, isn't that awesome? Instead of 3X10^8 m/s it went 1.5 m/min. 0.o Little bit of a difference there! Imagine what else we could do!!

  5. It does depend, you actually see more applets than you think. Its alot more powerful than flash to :). It can connect to database and such *wooooo*. :) I'm learning it right now to. What are you working on sniffy?

  6. You should probably just stick with the normal java environment. That will teach you best, and you should probably know how to use it if you want to use it for a job. Go to java.sun.com and click the downloads tab. Then do whatever, but make sure you just download jdk 6, or SE (2 I think). Then ask me, oh yeah, I only know how to set it up for Windows right now. So if your using mac, or any version of Unix (includes Linux) then google will tell you :). You can contact me on here or on msn (reportingsjr@hotmail.com). Right now I am also learning java. Odd! Im mainly learning 2d applet stuff.

  7. I was wondering how I could put a break in a sentence I'm using with gd (image library). I haven't figured it out and cant find anything on the web, this makes it a real pain because as you may know the text will just run off the side of the image and you wont be able to see it!Many thanks!

  8. Almost everyone will have javascript enabled, there are some people though. Its just that most people don't really care about it. You should be fine, the number of people with javascript disabled is very, very small compared to the number of internet users.

  9. Wait, so you want it so that when you click the text on the right it does it? I think thats what you want. You will need javascript, make text links and use the onclick command. You make it do radiobuttonid.checked=true;formid.submit();I think! Im not exactly sure, check with the javascript gurus.

  10. No, I dont think w3schools will ever offer it. You could email the owners of the site and they would respond to you in a better way. If you didnt know the people who run this site dont really visit this forum. One of them (Kaijim) usually visits and looks over once or twice a month.

  11. Hahaha, I hope you really didn't think that.. :)Nice quote, but right now in school I have exams *yay!!* but we were talking about stars and space a bit. Wait, no.. light, waves, etc..
