You only have one problem, its very common. I used to do it actually.. To use z-index you have to have position: absolute;. Nothing else will work with it.

That should be fine, im using a windows 2000 server. 20.5 gb on 2 slave hard drives and 40 gb on a master drive. Try Ubuntu, very nice feel, very easy to install things. There is a program called synaptic package managaer, it has about 1000 different programs you can download on it. After about 20 minutes I had Mysql and Php5, mysql isnt working though.

Linux by far, about 20 minutes ago I got a new wireless internet card and put it on here, using ubuntu (you forgot to list it under linux). Its wonderful! I installed apache, php 5. Now I can run tests locally .

You probably have ftp. You should google for an ftp uploader/program (I use SmartFTP, best ive found yet!) and ask your provider about a ftp account.

I think AddType is only relevant when PHP is running as a CGI binary, but it might be running as Apache module.

Actually sniffy, you only need to do that for functions. So his is fine right now. No need for extra work! But whats happening right now? Any error or anything, if you just want it to look nice then you will need to either make it yourself or fine some code that you think looks nice.

Its a file where you can control other files, you can password protect directories and files, and a bunch of other things. Go google it .

This may be for the php forum but I dont know.. I tried to do the thing where you write this in an .htaccess file:AddType application/x-httpd-php (dont know if its right, just took it right out of meh brain!)I put .php .htm .html after it, but whenever I tried to go to an html page on my site in a sub directory it tried to force a download. I looked it up and tried another way that said would remove the forced download, but it still comes up! Im using php version 4.something (higher up, not an older one). So any help appreciated!
